Hi everyone and welcome to another Spiritwish blog post. Today we’ll be talking about how to make gold effectively. I’ll be starting off with some of the more obvious tips and then go into ones where people may not know about.
TLDR; Sell everything, Do all daily content, Do World Boss & Coliseum
1. Sell everything
To start off, you want to sell everything. This includes enchanted and rare weapon/armor enhancement scrolls, all gears below masterpiece and masterpiece crafting scrolls. Most you already do this except keep the masterpiece crafting formulas. They sell for 10k a pop and are a huge source of revenue when you start finding them from level 50+ maps.
Chances are you’ll be getting your gears from gear summons and will rarely or probably never need to craft your own masterpiece gear with those scrolls. So sell away those scrolls and watch the gold pour in!
2. Do all daily content
This one sounds the most obvious but surprisingly most people don’t know how to make the best of it.
These include:
- Daily Quests
- Daily Gold Dungeon
- Arena of Trials
Daily Quests
For some reason the game really doesn’t want you to collect the gold from completing these daily quests. So watch out and be sure to finish each quest, collect the individual rewards as well as the halfway and fully completed rewards.
Daily Gold Dungeon
This one’s a no brainer. Easy 350k gold daily with no effort!
Arena of Trials
Okay, this one people might not be doing because it’s a little annoying. It is probably one of the bigger time sink things to do in terms of dailies.
Make sure you do this! If you can clear all 15 levels, you can get 655k total from everything. That’s a hefty amount of gold to be missing daily, not to mention the currency to buy Grimalkin card pieces.
3. Participate in Coliseum and sell all unique accessories
Coliseum is one content that I feel people don’t utilize enough. I feel this is due to the fact that it is behind a time window. That’s always annoying and I know at the start when I played I didn’t do it at all.
Coliseum Times:
- 4:25pm EST Entry – 4:30pm EST Start Time
- 10:25pm EST Entry – 10:30pm EST Start Time
- 1:25am EST – 1:30am EST Start Time
If you can take over the middle of coliseum, you can make an average of 300k each run. If you can attend at least two of them then that’s 600k a day. If you can’t take over middle you’re still guaranteed to get at least around 100k each run. Don’t sleep on this!
4. Hunt World Bosses and sell the masterpiece accessories
This assumes that you already have all legendary accessories on your main three characters. Your placement in the death of the world boss dictates how much gold you’re going to make. Regardless – 63k a piece is great free gold. Assuming you at least hit at least 3 world bosses, you’re making 190k each time.
World Boss Times:
- 11:30pm EST / 8:30pm GMT+8
- 12:30am EST / 9:30pm GMT+8
- 3:30am EST / 12:30am GMT+8
Gold is a scarce commodity in this game. Easy to use, hard to earn.
Remember, every little bit counts. There are too many gold sinks but not that many ways to get a lot of gold until later. Even then, it’s a sacrifice of time that could have been used to farm legendary++ crafting materials.
Summary:
- Sell everything (Green/blue enhance, unique and below gear, masterpiece formulas, masterpiece and below accessories)
- Do daily quests and arena of trials
- Do coliseum and world boss
