Spiritwish Gear Progression Guide

Written by Languor

So it’s been a bit over a week since the game was globally released. It’s about time someone made a guide about gear progression.

To start off, I’ll give you a brief introduction of myself. I’m Languor and I play on NA server (Ukko). I’ve been playing since soft launch and I am currently ranked number 15 on the server. My team is Paladin – Dual Wielder – Cleric M.

To start off, let’s talk about rarity tiers. In this game there are 6 tiers of gears.

Gear Rarity

  • Common (White)
  • Enchanted (Green)
  • Rare (Blue)
  • Unique (Red)
  • Masterpiece (Purple)
  • Legendary (Gold)

Your goal in Spiritwish is to get full legendary gears for your team of 3 characters. Currently, unique gears are very common and easy to get. Your main mission will be progressing from masterpiece to masterpiece++ and then eventually legendary.

Now let’s talk about gear tiers.

All gears have three tiers which are essentially Low/Mid/High. For weapons these are Forest/Lappland/Raid whereas for armor they have different names for each type.

Gears start at a base and can be upgraded to + and subsequently ++. To do so you need to level up the gear to it’s max level and enchant it to it’s max level. Only after can you upgrade it to the next tier. It is recommended to start at masterpiece when going through this upgrade grind.

In order to upgrade masterpiece weapons you need masterpiece upgrade stones.

You can get these from Onkalo weekly rank reward as well as by doing Onkalo itself. The majority that you will receive will likely be from beginner rewards from playing the game.

Low tier gears (Forest) you can get from crafting or progressing from unique gears. Mid tier gears can be obtained from event rewards or gear summons. High tier gears can only be obtained through crafting using materials gained from level 60 raids. Now let’s take a second to answer a very popular question.

Should I only use Lappland and not Forest gears?

The answer is no.

Only using Lappland is almost impossible for a free to play player and is not required. Although, it does give a significant boost in defense or attack. If you can afford to go Lappland you should. Overall this is based on your gear summon luck. The main reason why low tier gears are okay is because both low/mid tier gears will be replaced by high tier raid gears quite quickly. The crafting materials drop approximately 0-2 per 48 hours. I myself am using low tier forest armors and I have no trouble surviving level 60 raids.

Progression Route

Now I’ll tell you the route I recommend if you want to reach Legendary++. To start, I once again highly recommend that you start from masterpiece. If you lucked out and got some masterpiece+/++ gears from summons then you’ll be way ahead.

You want to level and enhance your masterpiece gears to max and get them to mp+ and afterwards mp++. While on the journey of getting mp++ on both weapons and armors, you want to get your masterpiece accessories. The main way to get these are from world bosses.

World Bosses

World bosses spawn spawn at Alouette Lake, The Bawling Boat, Emrata Falls and Tuonela. They spawn throughout all channels and despawn after 30 minutes.

World Boss Times:

– 11:30am EST / 8:30PM GMT+8

– 12:30am EST / 9:30PM GMT+8

– 3:30am EST / 12:30AM GMT+8

These are terrible times for NA and thus will probably be the more annoying part of your grind.

Accessory Progression

When you get accessories, you want to upgrade them. This is a VERY long grind. To upgrade accessories you have to first polish it, then upgrade it and lastly enhance it. In that specific order. If you mess up the order it won’t work and you’ll brick the accessory.

This is a system to keep high level players world bossing so that lower level players will be able to progress as well.

To continue, you should be doing both the above at the same time until you reach mp++ on everything. Afterwards you should be around 200k might on each character. This is the tipping point to legendary. The next step is to go to Eastern Lappland Forest / Tuonela and farm legendary weapon formulas. After you get all three character’s weapons to legendary… it’s time to tackle raids.

Keep copies of masterpiece / legendary accessories.

Your road now splits into two routes.

 1. Farm Unta Village Ruins / Manala Dungeon F1 for legendary armor formulas while leveling your characters
and attempting to find a group for level 60 raids.

OR

2. Farm Underground Waterway F1-F3 / Hiisi Citadel F1-F3, etc for legendary++ armor crafting materials and try
to search an organized group willing to take you.

It is likely that you will be able to solo the level 60 raid after you get 1 or 2 legendary++ weapons. From there it will get easier and after you get your legendary++ weapons you essentially farm on alt characters to get legendary++ crafting materials.

You should be pulling as much gear summons as you can.

While this is all happening you should be pulling as much gear summons as you can. You need these to disassemble for the masterpiece essences that are required for upgrading the gears to legendary.

After this – voila! You have three characters at legendary++. At the moment there isn’t any content where you can actually make use of these gears. In terms of PvE, the level 60 raids are the hardest and can almost be solo`d with a base legendary weapon and masterpiece armors. I say this from experience as I can take down about 140 bars on Eliminate the Hot Springs Creature.

Currently, I’m at the later stages of this grind but it’s still going to take me at least 2 months to get to the end. So far I feel that only the top 3 in the server have reached that point and they’ve been playing for about 2 and a half months. I’ve been playing for about a month and a half so far. Had to take a break as soft launch was VERY terrible.

Thank you for reading my guide and if I missed anything please comment down below and I’ll the add appropriate information. On the other hand if you have any specific blogs you would like to see please don’t hesitate to comment and let me know.

Getting full legendary gear will likely take about 2-3 months.

Keep in mind that this is a very long grind. Getting a full team to legendary will take at least 3 months and from there you still have to enhance and upgrade it. Legendary enhancement scrolls are scarce and so are enhancement stabilizers. I recommend joining a guild to help make the grind go quicker. To that end – if you’re in NA Ukko and want to join a competitive guild then consider joining Armada.
